Game Guides , Runescape
Abyssal demons are one of the most iconic creatures in Old School Runescape. They are pretty easy to kill and you can get one of the most iconic weapons in the game, which is the abyssal whip. They require a pretty high slayer level of 85 to kill but getting to that level sure is worth it. Here are the best ways to do this and beat these old denizens of the abyss.
Best Places to Kill
There are a lot of locations which abyssal demons can be found in. Here are the best locations for any given slayer task:
Catacombs of Kourend
Catacombs of Kourend is a great location to slay these old abyssal creatures in. There are two separate rooms that contain abyssal demons. The fastest way to kill these creatures is via using ancient magicks, just like dust devils or nechryaels. This place is completely a multi-combat area which is perfect for this. You should always try to use this place and use AOE magic spells for this task, you can still do it with melee or ranged but it will take much, much longer to complete one task.
Wilderness Slayer Cave
If you are using Wilderness, the absolute best place to kill this monster is the Wilderness Slayer Cave. All the monsters in this cave have access to an extra drop table making the gold that you will get from this already lucrative task higher. Also just like the catacombs this place is multi-combat as well. You can use the same method of tagging all the dust devils and stacking them up to kill them in one go. This method also becomes much cheaper and effective here as you can simply use "Blighted Ice Sacks'' to cast ice barrage and use a accursed sceptre to get a massive buff to your accuracy and damage. You can also bring along a looting bag to loot everything. The only downside of this cave is obviously other players. Be ready to escape at any given moment if you see a player. The part that contains abyssal demons in this cave is one of the deepest locations in the cave so do be careful.

Tag all the abyssal demons with an iron dart or Dinh's bulwark. Stack them up and start killing them using either ice barrages or ice bursts.
Best Gear Setups
If you can afford it, buy a teleport anchoring scroll from grand exchange and use it.This item will make it so that the demons can't teleport you around. This will increase your efficiency and increase your quality of life while slaying Abyssal demons.
